This week's goGIRL of the week is Ebone Marlowe! Ebone is a goGIRL in every sense of the word! Born & raised in Baltimore, MD ,Ebone became mesmerized by the power of music, immediately realizing her passion in life. At a young age, music provided inspiration and a way into a world where anything was possible. Idolizing such artists as Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, & Mariah Carey to name a few. Ebone began utilizing her talent by performing in talent shows as well as in school. She has been compared to artist such as Brandy but this goGIRL definitely has a voice of her own. There is power and passion in every note she sings, you can experience Ebone's soulful voice on her album Collage, released September 1,2009 which features a collection of lush and velvet-like melodies of love, relationships, determination and real life lessons anyone can relate to. Collage is about the journey of womanhood so every woman can definitely But this goGIRL is no rookie, she has had previous albums called "In the Beginning" and "Im Ready" and we are sure there will be more to come!Not to mention Ebone has collaborated with well known Baltimore artists such as Joe Deluxe, Harm City’s Finest, Young Ducki and Al Great.She has performed in several shows, events, and festivals throughout Baltimore, Atlanta,and New York. But Ebone will not stop there she plans to go wherever her dream takes her and is determined to be around for years to come!
